The annual Katina Pinkama or the esteemed robe offering ceremony will be held on the 7th and 8th of November at the Gangaramaya Temple. The ceremony marks the end of the monks’ retreat to meditation and religious practices during the rainy season. Devotees are welcome to attend with donations and offerings of dry rations, medicines, toiletries, items required for the upkeep of the temple and any other valued contribution.
